Axis Mundi

Questions

Ask the tree.

What this is, what the card is, what happens to your details, and what might come next.

What is this?

A game, and a gift. This year the playa gets a tree — Axis Mundi, the axle of the world. Touch its fruit and it asks you questions; touch its trunk, roots and rings and it teaches. That is the whole price of admission: your curiosity.

What is the metal card I was handed?

A techaeon — a small token of passage, the way ancient cities used coins, seals and medallions to say "you belong here." Its code is unique to you. Scanning it brings you to the tree, and the tree remembers it was you.

Who is behind this?

A small band of builders, mystics and DJs who have been making worlds together for years — games hidden in the streets of Medellín, tokens pressed into hands on three continents. Some of them go by aeonica, and the aeons. This week, they mostly go by the tree.

Is this selling me something?

No. Nothing here is for sale, nothing is advertised, and your details are never sold or traded. This is a gift, in the spirit of the place it was made for.

What happens in 2027?

We are not saying — partly because it is a secret, partly because the tree has not decided. Maybe a camp. Maybe art. Maybe a show, or a gathering under something tall. What we can say: this year was a game, and the gifts get bigger.

Why "Axis Mundi"?

Axis mundi is the old name for the center of the world — the tree, mountain or pillar that joins earth to sky. Nearly every culture drew one. A city built in a circle around a tall wooden figure seemed like the right place to plant ours.

What do the fruit do?

Each fruit holds one question — builder or sparkle pony, afro house or techno, do you believe in the esoteric. Gather all eight and the tree tells you which of its six archetypes you are, with something worth sharing.

What do I get for signing up?

First word when the next gift is ready, and a personal link. Every friend who joins through your link is counted in your circle — the biggest circles will be remembered when whatever comes next, comes.

Do I need a card to play?

No. The tree asks everyone the same questions. Card holders are simply remembered a little more precisely — and first in line for what follows.

How do I reach you?

Leave a message at the roots. A human reads every one. Leave an email if you would like an answer.
